These modules are described together, as many of the processes for serial orders are the same as for non-serial orders. If you are using the Serials module, you will need to also use the Acquisitions module (although the reverse is not the case).

The Acquisitions module comprises all of the tasks related to creating and managing orders, invoices, accounts and suppliers.
