This function allows searching of user records.


To search users, select Modules > Users > User Search.

The following screen appears:

You can search for users by:

  • First name
  • Surname
  • User ID
  • Short code

You can find all users by entering the % symbol in the search box.

Part of a word can be entered e.g. "gra" will find all names commencing with or containing "gra"

 

Additional search options are available by clicking Show Advanced Options:

This allows you to search for people who have left or deleted user records.

When you have entered your search criteria, click Search.

Search Results

All user records found by the search are displayed in a table below the search form:

To add a new user record, click Add New User in the Actions menu.

To view a record in more detail or to edit it, click on the name.

This will open up the edit screen, so that you can:

If only one record is found by the search, it will open up in the edit screen straight away.

Once you have finished viewing the record, click Close in the Actions menu to take you back to the search results screen.
