Search by Library staff is described and where this is different for OPAC users, this is pointed out.
OPAC users may be given access to one or more of the following facilities:
- User request form - allows OPAC users to communicate with the library, perhaps a request for the library to buy a book, or some suggestions or comments on the OPAC or other aspect of the library service
- My Account (old) - allows logged-in users and library staff to see their activities within the system such as loans
- Self Issue - allows users to loan, renew and return items for themselves
