A useful feature that can be implemented is to have the system send notification emails to library staff whenever a user makes a Supply a Copy request.

The system generates one email for all the items requested by a user in one session. One template is defined for each office.

 

Note that this is an optional feature, that may not be required for your library.

 


There are two steps to setting this facility up:

  • defining a template for the emails
  • setting up the task to produce them

It doesn't matter in which order these are done.
