Guest Access provides search only access to users who do not have a login and where the materials in the database are such that they do not need to be secured from access generally. This facility can be enabled or not. When set to be enabled it is a global setting that applies to all OPACs.
The default setting is Yes.
To disable Guest access, select No then click Save & Close in the Actions menu.
A welcome message can be presented to End Users when Guest Access has been turned off in System Configuration. Otherwise, when the End User accesses the application, a blank white page will be displayed below the normal banner and login buttons.
