The Access Permissions tab relates to the Roles that can access the OPAC.
Click on the Access Permissions tab, to display the options available:
The table below explains the function of each setting:
Role | Permissions |
---|---|
Guest | This defines which Access Permissions can access this OPAC as a Guest - this is normally set to Guest If you are allowing End User Submissions, you need to tick all the OPAC Access Permissions that apply |
Named OPAC User | This defines which Access Permissions can access this OPAC as a logged in OPAC user - this is normally set to OPAC Logged In If you have created other Access Permissions for OPAC users, ensure that these are ticked as well |
Allow access for TCP/IP Group | This option is used to specify the group of users who can access the LMS via an IP authentication group. This is also used when restricting access to an OPAC via ADFS/SAML. |
Deny access for TCP/IP Group | This option is used to specify the group of users who can NOT access the LMS via an IP authentication group. This is also used when restricting access to an OPAC via ADFS/SAML. |
Completing the process
When complete, click Save in the Actions menu, or Save and Close to return to the list of OPACs.
